Fished on Walsall canal
89 fished.
After fishing the canal for the 6 years i knew sooner our later it was due a bad un....
Today was that day with a lot of anglers failing to trouble the scalesman. I think most caught odd small fish but there were a lot of weights under a pound.
Winner on the day was Rob Perkins with 6-8-4 from a peg in the bay (peg 42) who added small roach to a couple of skimmers.
1st Rob Perkins 6-8-4
2nd Ian " Abdul" Moulton 6-5-7 (peg 14)
3rd C Robinson 6-4-0 (peg 72)
4th Rick Hines 5-15-5 (peg 2)
5th Lewis "jiffy bag" Breeze 5-14-3 (peg 13)
6th Neil Martin 5-11-8 (peg 15)

Dont know mate, conditions were perfect.
11 degrees at 3 o'clock yesterday dropping to minus 5 this morning, a frozen canal and bright sunlight.
Dont know why it fished so bad.
