A few members here on SMF have had a Futron in the past, indeed some continue to use the pole, but anyone ever have a Futura..........?

I had the Futura when it came out, the walls were very thin, but it was a brilliant canal pole, I even used it on the River Arrow fishing 6 metres to hand for the big chub that lived in that stretch, it handled them no problems at all, and I am talking chub over 5lb, when I told Austin Clisset he was horified.

I then moved onto a Garbolino Master Ace and I still use that pole today. Image

I was a D.A.M. rep for a while in this era and sold loads of these..Futron in particular ...fab poles at the time.
K.C did loads in his shop when DAM Dorking.

I've gorra a few DAMs myself WileyOldCampaigner - a couple of Mactrons, a couple of Futrons, a Tectron and a couple of KC whips

Think they'll see me out........
