All rounders
not many lee its either river and canals or commercials
all-round angling is great the problem is getting a run of matches big enough, the price of fuel to travel
in my area to name just a few tony marshall but he's not keen on canals choppy bicko and rob wootton with rob i think he is probable the most all-rounder with his record on commercials as well i could think of a few more but haven't yet see them this year
all-round angling is the dearest form of match angling

All rounders
Not too long ago I did a feature article in AM with this in mind. It was based heavily on results at the widest variation of venues possible, including the Irish scene in order to add some 'continental' type fishing to the equation. Age also came into it. I think I listed the top 50 but it was only my opinion, nothing else.
The current England team filled the top slots, - as it really should do.
Apart from those the one that came out well on top was a chap from this site, Lewis Breeze.
If I did the article again from scratch I see no reason to alter my view. There were others also from this site that figured very well, the likes of Darran Bickerton, CV and others previously mentioned.
Polly is avery obvious candidate too
These are just my views; I'll have A Guinness Q - no need to wrap it up in a brown paper bag

Just to clear a few things up; this list was compiled some three years ago, approx. It would obviously change a bit today. It was based purely on results, age ability and completely varying types of fishing; I'll have to try and dig it out; there was FIFTY names on it.
Some I hear mentioned today would seriously have to buy me a lot of Guinness
If I remember right Rob Wootton and Diddy were very high up the list.
It wasn't just done as all rounders but with possible England contenders in thought. Basically, it is the same thing.
