well Ive come to the end of the weeks holiday in Holland

all i can say if you have never tried Holland for the fishing its a must

the night life's not so bad either

like i said after the presentation it was all back to the winning house .fantastic food and plenty of beer to wash it down with ::)and of course some of pats birthday cake

and as you will see the house was rocking by three in the morning

daylight and time for the trip back

all i can add is a big thankyou to pat and the rest of the guys and everyone who took part

see you all next year

The after-party took place in our house yet again !
We were a little worried especially after the party the week before ,

But as we had won a lot of the money we bit the bullet and invited everyone who had fished the festival and some who hadn't to our late evening soiree.
The food was the Bo##ox ,if you're going to do something you might as well do it well.
Trish had done all the shopping and prepared a lot of the food at her house. She even left the main presentatio party early to cook the food in our house and make sure everything was ready for the returning anglers.
We had pots of chilli , curries , sweet + sour , pizzas , fries , sandwiches , rolls , garlic bread + loads more stuff.
This was complemented with French Cru Classe Cotes du Rhone , 2007 Chateauneuf du pape and Belgian beers of exceptional quality and strengh

For the more discerning palate we had a special cocktail of John Smiths mixed with Strongbow , apparently a delicasy in Donny !
We even laid on the traditional Dutch " schmoke + a pancake "
The resident DJ played his songs until the early hours and everyone had a great time.

easy if i'd of been there the week before ::) ::) ::) all i kept saying to them how hard is it to catch a bream on the voorne canal ::) ::) i was very supportive of my colleagues

there was always a shoulder to cry on

adzee i trashed all those rigs after that match

then on the last i could of done with them

as the fish came up off the bottom where we were

i thought you'd get a closer photo at the psychedelic new paint work on the floats
already missing it i can see why pat and andy only fish in holland now

and yes we have not forgotten the midnight G/B FIGHT typical southerners we were tucked up in bed by then

next year you will want to be looking out for road side attacks and ambushes

i never saw him leave, so he must of flu from the bedroom window

i think browny spent the evening back on the voorne canal trying to catch the bream

top bloke browny top bloke he walked into the irish bar in the town,the same one we have used for years and asked for a menu

"i menu i said" browny said its one of the best steaks you'l ever have

we've been going in years and never knew they did food
