What are everyones best and worst moments of their 2010 match fishing season ?

a) Best was probably the first forum match - just for plenty of good banter and the characters on the towpath



b) Worst...........got loads, how long you got

[Simple]

Best.

1.Winner the Grueller Series despite some cracks fishing in the series.
2. Doing my first ton at Woodston Manor.
3. All the fishing with Yale Angling Club, friggin never laughed so much.
4. Doing a double ton at Rolfs in February during a spring league match, nearest other weight was 20lb
5. This Forums match, meeting everyone and getting beaten by Gem  Mind you she did beat almost everyone 
6. My pole caught 20lb'er. Fantastic fish.


Worst.
1. In the same series fishing the common and everyone dry netting except 2 people who had a tiny perch each 
2. Getting Beaten by Gem numerous times.
3. Will add more, there is so many

BEST....1,winning this years averages with my club(1st time ever won owt in fishing after doin it for 30odd years)

WORST...for the 1st time have lost the urge to go,not been since october,never happened b4 even after fishing a few of T.K.s gruellers

Worst - There ain't any, just some fishing days are better than others.

Best .....

1, At the start of 2010 the team i fished with in the hankat teams of 3 , Ian Didcote (Diddy) , Shaun Gould & meself had a brilliant series not doing much wrong only to fall a few points short of winning it.

2 A nice and much needed individual win on the 85 peg Crewe summer canal league on the Shroppie @ Wardle.

3 A brilliant team performance from the team i fished with in the Crewe summer canal league to finish 2nd overall in the series ,  a huge effort from the lads and particularly queenie boy (Lewis Breeze) .

4 Winning the Shropshire canals winter league with my new team Ted Carter Southport , a brilliant effort from the lads 


Worst ....

1 Proper lost my fishing mojo in the middle of 2010 ...... it was great to find my enthusiasm again 

2, Almost turned to the darkside in the summer   

3, All the miles us lads in the NW have to travel to fish good competitive leagues.

4, Im on a real bad run of draws ..... hope it ends sooner rather than later   :(

My best moments from fishing is an easy ask.

1. Just being able to go is enough for me these days
2. Finally getting Julie (the wife) to go to Rolfs for a couple of days and for her to actually fish which i never thought would happen.
3. Watching and helping Liam start to really get a feel for fishing and loving it, especially the day that Budgie allowed Liam to fish a 5 hour knock up on his gear to catch over 90lb of carp with fish to 18lb 8oz.

Worst moments.

Best in no order.....

My whole family (Si, Mum, Dad, Brother and Sister all being at Rolfs for a weekend- and all fishing, and enjoying it too! 
New PB carp sat in my comfy pjs on the bank in the dark with a rod, bait, landing net, beer, Si, John and a few others watching egging me on.
Coming 2nd on a canal
Coming 2nd at Rolfs
Minxing 25 anglers in the Jinx series, all but 1 man was left standing- Fred.
The pleasure of placing a pink hat onto selected heads! In particular Ade 
Putting fear into Mr Mound 
Being in Anglers Mail with a write up and pic for coming 2nd on the canal. Someone walked past Si with the magazine in his hand and he proudly said 'My girlfirends in there!'
Spending weekends camping and fishing at Rolfs in great company 
Being spun on my box and holding on for dear life and shaking all over with excitement.

Worst....

Not winning either of those matches, as it would of been an extra special occasion 
Having those calamity days

BEST........
meeting all the different people in various leagues who you dont know , and are REALLY helpfull 

Fishing the broads champs and going on pontins festival with me wing  man MACCA , and a real Gent
and all the people we met, and the new methods we learned, in perticular the pole feeder

and also wining div 2 national with a special bunch of canal anglers who just love it....




WORST........
    All the takers & Moaners in this life who do nothing for any one else accept stir the s**t when things aint going there way......

and ofcourse the weather at the moment for stopping us all going out doing what we all love in a safe manner......Hang on in there guys n dolls............weather will break soon

Best- Winning back to back club leagues 1 of only a few people to do it in the clubs history
Setting a venue record at passford
Fishing the opens at willow marsh in the summer and framing on most of them
the week down stafford moor and winning the residents match
Getting decent on the pellet wag and the bomb
Filling in on a teams of 4 at heronbrook
Worst- Getting battered on the teams of 4
Not fishing as many opens as id have hoped mainly mid-week matches
Still being crap on canals
