conditions just right for bream on the morning and being overcast it looked as thou it would be a good match how wrong was i in fact the wind got stronger putting pay to any pole fishing or weights of roach some anglers did have it better than others this season i've done quiet well at frisby and with missing one or two weeks i was really looking forward to it how wrong was i again stone last in my section and what was worst i had godfrey next to me [his peg is a better peg than mine ]he was'nt too bad
individaul on the day was russ dowling fishing for leicester sensas lake who had skimmers and the odd bream through out the match on worm weighing 22lb12oz
and was followed by gordon bell of garbolino harrisons l/c red again all skimmers for 20lb 15oz and a tie for third between steve winters and sid baldock 12lb 11oz with jim clayton in 5th 11lb 12oz

No nor me; go through your match Joff. Was it one big lump or a mass of little skimmers.
If they were bits did they come at regular intervals?
Was the scalesman a bit dodgy?
Did Gobfrey put essence of zander on your bait?
Did someone sabotage your hooks?
Was there an empty bivvy on your peg when you got there?

it was my own fault going into the match i thought i could catch a skimmer in any peg big mistake
and in fairness godfrey was quiet after his victory at the next peg
