Arrans Lake 1st April 2017
Right I hope you have all had a nice rest and are ready for a hectic start to our season. I have no idea how it will fish but would still expect some big weights though not as big as the last visit.
I expect the rules will be similar to our previous visits so can anyone with scales please bring them.
Don't forget it will be the first day of the new licence so DONT forget to renew yours.
So who wants a serious workout then.
I will also collect £35 club fees on the morning

Time to give the pole its annual spring clean and service/repair - squeeze another year out of the Beastmaster
Next up a few new rigs as well

Re: Arrans Lake 1st April 2017
Regarding club fees, I have checked budgets and provided prices stay as expected it looks like we can keep the fees the same as the last few years at £35.
As for match fees it depends on how many turn out and if the venue is pay per peg or the whole lake. If my assumptions are correct and we average 14 member/guests an outing then, with the current £6 match fee, we will have a small shortfall of £30 which will be covered by reserves.
I will review later in the season and change the match fee if needed.
