knock up on fishly

A few of us turned out for this knock up in between our usual matches on what started out to be a pleasant morning, only for the wind to get up n try n blow us off our boxes. But in all it fished rather well considering the colour had all but dropped out of the cut.

1st big col 16lb 4oz
2nd heinzer 14lb 9oz
3rd obi 11lb 0oz
4th Phil (my sausage is cold) 6lb 4oz
5th Carlos 3lb 12oz
6th (end peg) blues 3lb 7oz
7th Mike the pike 2lb 7oz 7Dr
8th Twink DNW (off a flier)

Thanks to everyone who turned up and to Gaz who pegged out for me,to heinzer for opening the gate and Mike for locking up n to Twink for watching heinzers tackle whilst he weighed in

That was a cracking days fishing for me learned a few lessons for next week

Just to say thanks to all concerned. I had a great days fishing, caught some nice fish, rescued my cap from the hedge, and had more than a few cobwebs blown away.
Todays sandwich was warm and tasty.

in more ways than 1 eh Phil...Thought I had Dead Peg Next to me

Never thought I would say I would be disappointed with double figures on the cut but only managed about a dozen put ins on the chop line..had 4 tench and 2 perch...lost 3 tench due to the wind, just couldnt ship back due to it and lost the fish in the sedges..fairly sure without the wind weights would of been double for some

Some small perch,small Rudd,small bream,small tench and the odd pikelet . Left ov bridge

No problem Col as long as its nothing to do with doggers,if so get O B 1

No serious my ,gaz just put the first 8 pegs in n it could have been won from anywhere as most lost tench n bream due to heavy winds

TK , I checked Maggotdrownin site and Chappo apologised that they could not make it so did not remind him .
