If you use the Strawberry red and touch it with wet hand DONT touch your face after. It gives you a amazing tanned effect Image

Well it looks like TK has sent Image Image Image down to see us this weekend. Winning weight on Pathfield yesterday was 52lb, apparently the weather wasnt good with a gale force wind blowing and the long pole a non starter for most.

We will just have to wait and see what happens when a decent set of anglers like us hit the place. ;)Image Image

Forecast is light rain showers but only 15 deg C and 21 mph winds. Time to make sure the feeder rod is in the bag. Image

TK its time you went on holiday and took the curse with you. >:( >:(

One casualty today. Graham has back problems so wont be with us. Apparently it started at the Monk match but got worse ending with him collapsing on the floor and having to call an ambulance as he couldnt move.

Sad news about Graham. :(
It's now looking doubtful whether I'll make this one, a bit of unexpected family trouble has cropped up that may need sorting. >:(
I'll give you a ring tomorrow Dave to let you know one way or another.

PANIC PANIC PANIC

Who would be a match organiser.

I was talking to a guy on MDs PMs about the new bait limits on Colemans cottage today. He is fishing the open tomorrow in practise for the Super League match. He said that the match is oversubscribed and they will be putting extra pegs on Pathfield Lake.. Image Image Image Image

I got straight on the phone and spoke to Gerry who says they have no note of our match in the book Image Image Image Image

So he then agrees any extra pegs for the open will go on Copse Lake ( the small pleasure lake) Image

15 minutes later I get a phone call from Gerrys son asking to speak to Les who apparently has a small booking for his pub club on Pathfield. Image Image Image

No worries they can go on the specie lake over the road

So hopefully everything is now OK. Image Image

Just one thought though if he thought he was ringing Les where did he get my phone number from, its usually written in the book alongside the club name. Looks like Jane has cocked up she will be in trouble tonight when she gets home from her trip. Image Image

Seems like it doesnt it. Image Image Image

Thing is I always ring several days before matches just to confirm everything is OK. I did on Tuesday and spoke to the son but must admit I was more concerned on the new bait limits but I said which club it was and when we were fishing and he seemed to know we were coming.
