Canal was chocolate coloured early in week as they were running Don water through local system.
Match there today was won wth 5lb odd.... mainly small roach n blades.....only had one netter.

My thoughts as well Dodge, when I heard that it was well coloured I was rubbing me hands, needed some colour badly. I had 16lb in the Al Bailey (peg 204) and that was 3 skimmers and a load of 4-6oz roach, its been a good area but at the time I thought it needed the cold spells to pack the fish in other areas.The roach and skimmers will be there in numbers very soon after this cold spell methinks pedro

in a fashion, sign of age when it takes 2 days to recover one night lol. I was very green under the gills yesterday, as my result clearly shown, should a won lake from there

Deffo mate
Always amazes me how a couple of pegs on the lampost at west sreet always holds a big shoal of roach, the bend at dunstans and when in stanilands is an aquarium

Sundays weights were a tad on the low side, as Fin pointed out they dont like that Don water run at em!.
