kamsan b560 best of both worlds light enough for roach and still strong enough for perch.the best light caster maggot hook in my opinion.

Sharki,
Tried every hook for perch; come to the conclusion that there isn't such an animal. Some are better than others though as listed on previous posts.
Perch are a bit different than most other species. They have a very bony mouth structure and it is a little bit of pot luck as to where they are hooked.
Join the club mate, if we were all honest we have all lost plenty of perch, I certainly have.
Oh, if you find one let me what it is!!!!

cheers bill n rest of the fellas
but it seems to have come across wrong in my original thread im not targeting perch im fishing for roach mainly but just latley ive been getting the perch turn up mainly later on in the session it may have something to do with the fact its quite enclosed as its urban canal thats got tower blocks on one side n a trading estate on the other so it dont get as much sunlight as most other canals. anyway im only pleasuring this canal so should be grateful might have to give the b560 and gamma greens ago not as though its an expensive trial is it

kamasan b511s
As long as you use the right elastic gamma greens are brilliant in a size 18 for caster on the cut. If there are trees/ boats about though i would look at the drennan polemaster in a size 20. B560s are brilliant hooks too though! Youll just have to try the lot and see what suits u best..

today have tied gamma greens up 22s
sensas 3405 20s
preston 333s 18s
