is it Sutton Lane or Soar lane cos I can see that.
I would come off the j24 island then before I got into Kegworth turn left down to the river and go over the river, up to the crossroads then turn right past the university campus, so is at that end of Sutton Bonnington or the other end?

Christ on a bike. You pair
Soar lane, Sutton Bonington. Your right Tafty. Just remember to stop at the lane end.
Tight lines.

Used to get exactly the same reaction from some when I rang to advise of a late change of venue - eg due to flooded rivers.
Time after time that right yellow stream me off - so I dont bother now........

sorry about the fishing yesterday :-[i just can't believe how it fished ,for this time of year we should of been bagging on small roach skimmers perch normally these fish feed no matter what
ok it was bright ,quite a cold wind but i would of still said everyone would of caught 3 to4lb of fish
instead the top three all had bonus fish in there nets with small perch and bleak the rest of the field made do with very odd fish
i must of been something in the water left after the floods
not many roach were caught i think one bottle top it was rubbish
sorry i was a bit rusty on the organising front as well
and i should of weighedin as 1lb 2oz won my section i must of had that just didn't think it would of won anything
there is a match on there next week if anyone is interested

1lb 2oz, I'm a prat too cos I def chucked more than that back!!!!!! doh
not your fault Joff, just how it is. I believe I attacked it too much and cud have had more fishing differently, But, we expected it to fish better.
still I learnt a few things and would go again, but unfortunately I won't get chance till winter
The only thing I didn't enjoy was the bank walkers. Some were ok, but some were right a**eholes.

true, I am grumpy when it comes to bank walkers.
one man and woman and 2 dogs came by. I said just give me a few seconds and I'll be out the way. The bloke was fine said no problem, but the woman, Oh no, she couldn't wait, she had to try and climb over and shout the dogs to jump over. She had the stare!!!!
I'm definitely in the Stan Piecha camp when it comes to bank walkers. .
One thing I did overhear Robbo next to me say he had those Big perch fishing well off the bottom.
still enjoyed it tho!!
