SATURDAY 13TH OCTOBER WOOD LAKE Knowing the generosity and community spirit we have here i hope i get some takers for this...
I HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN A BIT OF CHARITY WORK TO TRY AND RAISE FUNDS TO HELP A TERMINALLY ILL 7 YEAR OLD BOY. OF MANY EVENTS PLANNED WE HAVE DECIDED TO DO A FISHING MATCH ON SAT 13TH OCTOBER.... WE NEED 19 ANGLERS TO TAKE PART IN THIS AND TO PAIR UP WITH 19 "NOVICE" ANGLERS IN A PAIRS MATCH.... WE HAVE ALREADY BEEN PROMISED SOME FAMOUS NAMES FROM THE WORLD OF BOXING WILL BE FISHING....... THE AIM IS TO CHARGE 30 POUNDS ALL IN OF WHICH 15 WILL GO STRAIGHT TO THE CHARITY THE REST FOR PEG FEES AND POOLS.
ALSO ALL COMPETITORS WILL BE GIVEN SPONSORSHIP FORMS TO TRY AND RAISE A BIT MORE MONEY FOR THE CHARITY..
UNFORTUNATELY THE BOY IS NOT EXPECTED TO LIVE UNTIL OCT BUT WE ARE STILL RAISING FUNDS TO HELP OTHERS WITH THIS DISEASE www.familiesagainstneuroblastoma.org THE BOYS NAME IS MITCHELL HUTH AND IS A TRUE INSPIRATION AND SO SO BRAVE. I KNOW IT MIGHT SEEM LIKE A LOT OF MONEY BUT 15 POUND TO THE CHARITY IS NOT MUCH MORE THAN 3 OR 4 PINTS ON A NIGHT OUT... ANYBODY INTERESTED PLEASE POST BELOW............
