right chaps before you know it the first frosts will be upon us.so what do you fellas have confidence in on the buisness end of your tackle ie; you rate line wise with there been so many brands out there lines wise im 100% silstar matchteam doing all my other comercial work but now im giving the canal a good go during the winter what do you recommend in the low diamatre strengths 0.6- 0.8 that scenario going to tie a few up soon so want to get it right i will be using kamasan 511"s -611S hook wise cheers for all your replys
Personally i use shimano silk shock for everything, its especially good in low diameters though! Ties up well, no kinks if you moisten the knots properly and has that all important strength when latching into bonus fish like perch and skimmers, I've even had a 4lb chulb out on the 0.06m!!
I used to use silk shock in the winter stroft in the summer you can't rely on the diameters on stroft .08 used to mic up at .10 but never never made much difference I never had owt on the end of it!!
i use sensas one tip i can give you i buy it by the box, i then know its not been in the light or on the shelf too long i just order it from the tackle shop
