thinking of a new box
I nearly got one of these when i sold my x6s. Was worried about spares though and storage so went for a green framed d25.
thinking of a new box
I still using a Brillo box with a central groove right across the seat and 'sit' on my pole 'a fair bit' whilst feeding etc
One thing that's always detered me from getting a box with one of those seats is whether the 'V' is deep enough to allow you to stash the pole back far enough so that there is enough 'leverage' from your nether regions so it can remain unsupported over the water (without need for a bar) ???????

Tk I've looked into the seatbox as I broke my pole arm on my rive lucky the rive was deep enough and could use it the sensas 700 is half the price of the new Rive but upto this year the sensas 700 hasn't had a stack system for your rigs add ons are a lot cheaper and some good new items to add to the box are coming

Rich I`ve had a few boxes over the years and my Rive is the only one I`ve been able to sit comfortable for 5 hrs without getting a bad back, solid as a rock and as good as the day i got it ( 8yrs ) !!

I know what you are saying its just the price. Like richie said its only to sit on
thinking of a new box
Joff I have had more than enough out of my box for the price, it has outlasted all previous boxes and I`ve had Milo`s, Matchbox, Preston! It will last me a good few years yet as it`s still almost as good as new, I`ve only changed the 30mm and 60mm pull out drawers once in 8 yrs! The only way i would change it is for a new 36mm open box It`s only to sit on , but you need to be comfortable for 5 hours We are all old crappity smack now

ropas ive shopped around no one has any deals on the new rive i can't see the point of spending at least £1000 with no accessories you have to remember the new rive you have to start again
the sensas 650 which is the 2012 model is closer to the rive and has a proper deluxe seat top again like the rive i just think others are now catching up
i'm at a age where most of my money goes on the kids, as you know its never ending i like them to enjoy what i couldn't because of work
this year i will be out doing more fishing
