I heard that Steve Yeomans died recently. Just 46. I'm sure there are many on here who had fished with him and against him. Very sad news.

Steve had been ill for a good while.
He lived in the Burton area.
Really good canal angler who also liked the 'fun' side of fishing. He fished for Starlets under Dowsey
He also fished for us in quite a few Leagues including the Wolverhampton Winter League when it was huge. I think we won that when twelve teams fished; he was one of our team then.
Very sad.

i had the privilege to run his section on a few drennan league matches in the mid 90s which i believe to be the best starlets canal team i ever saw yo yo was by far the best squatt angler i have ever seen and also the funniest with a pint in his hand god bless you mate
