I can't say too much but someone who currently helps care for Ray, who is in a very bad way with dementia in a nursing home, has just found out that he was famous as an angler. I am trying to gather some pictures from various sources as talking about fishing has had a very good effect on the old boy and I wonder if anyone has his book they would be happy to let me have for him? I've found a copy (Match Fishing Step by Step) 2nd hand on Amazon and have ordered it for him but just in case it doesn't materialise. Any other publications with Ray in would be greatly appreciated too.

He didn't suit everyone but I got on with him as well as anyone, I think and I'd like to think that, God forbid, I was ever how he is now, someone would care.

i zoomed in on his book "step by step" and it looks like him.

does he have a brother called vernon?
