seeing as we are having great weather thought i would go out for a few hours and try out the new 8m pole i purchased, now i will probably sell it as it was like holding a lampost!! >:(

but on the flipside within a few minutes of first drop with it i landed a nice 2lb tench!

had to put it away because the bend was rediculous in it and the weight so switched to 12ft waggler rod and bagged my second tench of the day!

had a few hours and finished with a 5lb net, biggest total i have had and as a novice canal fisherman i was quite chuffed with myself. Image

great couple hours on the cut and even got a tan!!

Tipton cut, down by the boat yard


compared to the tench i saw swimming, the 2 pounders i had were goldfish!
