Having had a moment of weakness I went to the tackle shop on payday...
And in another moment of weakness I gave in and bought a spool of nanofil. I have used this before and been really impressed but I am having some problems with my knots.
My hook knot is fine but when I tied a pole rig and tested the breaking point it snaps at the knot where I make my loop to attach to my elastic connector. This happens every time with a pull of exactly 2lb- not great when the line is rated 4.5lb.
What knots would you recommend I try next?

Nanofil advice and thoughts required
I use this knot for my loop to the connector and have never had any problems with it to be fair. I know others use a figure of 8 for this application.....
Overhand that I use....

Many thanks for your help- the animated knot sites are brilliant.
The main problem with nanofil is that it is so thin it cuts itself under pressure. Therefore any strangulation knots- such as figure of eight or overhand loop- snap under a small pull.
The way I can get round it is to attach a swivel using a palomar- which is very strong with nanofil- and then a short piece of mono to the connector. This appears to work well and replaces the no 8 back shot I would normally use.
Is anyone else using nanofil and having knot problems?
