Wigston A.S. Pairs/Individual Winter League – GUC Leicester Round 1 (10 Pairs)

Blustery conditions made the going tough for this first round fished on the “Manor” section at Glen Parva.

Individual winner was Steve Oakes with 4lb 5oz of roach. The Wigston A.S. rod pole-fished punch down the track to just pip his lad Steve Oakes (Middy Tackle) on 4lb 2oz.


On the pairs front, three teams tied on 7pts with the pairing of Steve Warner and Steve Porter (Team Marukyu) recording the best combined weight.
