i used to fish with my father, many a day on the local canal in brownhills and pelsall as a child watching the 12 yr old girls walk past with their triple pushchairs, dog walkers with cans of special brew in their hands, drugged up trogladykes and idiots like ha ha nosing around, it was never safe.

black cock bridge stretch is the way forward these days, back of walsall wood, had 2 decent perch about 5 oz there last week all on maggot on the peacock wagler.
