With a bit of colour back in the canal the venue's roach had spread out and although there were no big weights the venue fished very consistantly.

With Ian Moulton unable to fish the final round Darren was drafted in to fish in his place and it was an inspired decision as he lead the team to a win on the day, and with Andy Billington winning his section and Neil Martin 5th in section it was enough to win the league overall.
He was on peg 34 on the "chemicals" section and caught around 7lb of roach on bloodworm at 5 metres to go with 2 decent perch and a skimmer of 12 oz.
