Not sure if I've spelt the name correctly.

Back in the 80's I had a couple of these, recommended by a good angler and mate ('Tat') from Kiddeminster.

They were actually purchased from Carthy's at Armitage.

Had ruck loads of silvers on 'em on the cuts and also had a fair few rogue tench too on 'em as HaHa would testify.

Sadly they went when some crappity smacker nicked all my gear back in the early 90's Image

I'm on another of my nostalgia trips so ask if anybody has got any gathering dust in a garage/loft that they wouldnt mind parting with to make an old man happy?

Maybe Kingfisher might know mate, however I used to go to Carthy's when I was over there, but that would be mid eighties before I packed up for eight years. I used to knock about with Dave Berrows and Simon Nickless at the time so when I see them next I will ask them about these whips, I will make it a mission. Image

That 'Derwent Tackle' rings a bell worcester Image and your spelling of them looks more like it than mine :D

Good to hear you are still putting them to use Image

I had a couple of the 3 mtr jobbies - great whips as well as that 'green' carbon having a real attractive 'classy' look to it - distinctive in its own right the same as 'diaflash' is
