On the way back home from the Chase on Saturday I took a different turn for a change and clocked anglers on a pool I didn’t know existed as I came along Brindley Heath Rd (not far from the Tackaroo PH)
Any of you guys got any info - controlling club etc?
Many thanks
TK

them are the taca roo pools. Theres 3 pools down the drop. Used to fish the top pool (closest to the pub ) upto a few years a go. The gaffa of the tacca roo used to baliff them (it used to be a fiva a day) but if the weather wasn't a nice hot sunny day he couldn't be arsed walkin over the road to collect the money. There is some cracking fish (inc big 2lb roach ) in there. I stopped fishing it simply because i got p off with the chavs off the estate coming over and playing up.
A month or 2 ago i was working on a school and got talking to 2 of the scaffolders . The explained a new bloke had taken the pools over and had moved the fish about. More fish as been put into the top pool and and the bottom pool mainly emptied whilst work is done on the top 2. They now hold open matches on there run by this new bloke (who's name i can't remember)

they have moved all the carp into the top pool purely to make it a match venue. It used to be a maggy, caster, worm ect venue but when i was talking to the scaffolders and they were telling me about it now they said its an out and out pellet venue now.

If memory serves me correctly, there's a private pool on the other side of the road as well.
Had some cracking bags of roach out of the top pool many years ago.
Best roach went 1lb 12oz.
