No I aint - told ya it was a tinca

The latest I can tell you is that there were a few tincas come out on the club match yesterday - mainly to the humble maggot and caster which most people were using.

Plus some 2lb skimmers, although 1 chap had a proper jobbie around the 5lb mark

A lass just the other side of the bridge to the match had a 6lb tinca on the pellet

whilst another pleasure angler next door had got 3 tincas all taken on the bread - so you'll be aok Bill

Didnt see anybody fishing the boilies Simps - so can't tell you how I expect you and Malc to fare - you'll either do 40lb plus apiece or bust

Our match a fortnight ago was won with 25lb (5 tench, a couple going 6lb, a solitary bream and a few perch) all on the worm...........didnt seee anybody with a worm yesterday

The Chockie Munster is the bloke to ask Diddy - he's been practising down his section of the Wyrley & Essington in preparation for this one...........

Billy Knotts got him down as 3/1 favorite.........

Sorry TK but i'm going to have to pull out as with Saturday being the wifes Birthday and she's working and i'm fishing in Evesham with my youngest (which means i've got to go back to wales with the little un) and there's no way i can convince the better half that i drive back to the midlands on the Sunday.

Very sorry if this causes a problem and if you need the peg fee give me a shout and i'll get it to you.

Really gutted as i was looking forward to this.

The cottage which is literally a couple of hundered yards away from the gate to the canal. You shouldnt miss it as it's right on a small 'elevated' part of the lane which was the bridge to the now filled in Lord Hayes Branch which ran to down to the A34.............plus I should be there to 'flag' you all down
