but not sure about the crappity smackin hook

- I deliberately played a percentage game CHW to see if I could snare a bite on caster - instead of the usual 6 top kits set up, I just set 3 up in 0.06 straight thru to 24s

Usually I have additional 'stepped up' rigs (0.08

with 20s for caster on there this time of year) but daint bother as I couldnt remember my last caster fish.

Sods law if I'd have set another (heavier) rig up after the first fish came off the hook, I wouldnt have had another bite on caster......

However on peg 3 which is a 'noted' peg, that's a different story - chap lost two lumps on Sat - probably tench, as did Dave Berrows when he fished the peg a couple of weeks earlier

When I used to drink and meet up with Baz and Nick Van Hoek it was normally a right session !!!

I think he mentioned he's actually fishing a doubles match with Nick V H on 27th Dec, cuss he can't make the Chockie Munster match on the cut the same day
