McDONALD LOAN EXTENDED

THE SADDLERS have received confirmation that Clayton McDonald's loan extension has gone through.

The big, bustling central defender will stay at the Banks's Stadium for a further month after some impressive displays in the heart of the back-line.

The 20 year-old is a product of the Manchester City Academy, but with his path to the first-team blocked, he has had loan spells at both Macclesfield Town and Chesterfield prior to arriving here at Walsall, where his dad, Rodney, was a popular figure during the early 1990s.

His latest loan spell will expire after our FA Cup first round clash on Saturday, November 7th and, as an extra bonus, he has been granted permission to turn out for The Saddlers in the FA Cup competition.

Wolves aint good enough for city players to want to go to wolves. Once we've picked who we want from city we will move on to Chelski
