Secret Venue 15th Aug
I have been asked not to publish any pictures of the venue on here or results. Which is typical as I have just got a new camera :(
What I can tell you is that Gem Minxed 5 people including the blokes to her left and right
Weather was nice and sunny but well windy and poor old Gem was on a very good peg but had the wind blowing in her face all day, it was that bad the guy on the next peg packed up early as he couldn't take it anymore
I did not get Minxed
Results and Pictures can be found here... removed link
Its a Large file so depending on your connection may take a while. Its a zip file, so when you click the link it will ask you to save or open. Save it to you desktop or where-ever.
Extract the folder and your good to go.
FILE WILL BE DELETED MONDAY NIGHT[reason]removed link[/reason]

how is it a secret venue when we all knew were you were going ?
Is this because youve taken the site away from Yale that they now will not let you publish details of their matches ?

I caught at 5-8 meters on a 30g gripmesh feeder.
I also balled it and fed a lot of pellets too.
I used about 6kg of gb and 6 pints of pellet.
Bait was simple, a white 10mm boilie on a bait spike until it broke then I changed to hair rigs.
The wind then blew the line round the tip of my rod after catching a fish, I lift the rod and wound in the line and *Crack* I half broke the tip on my rod :(
The spares were at home in my shed lol
Fished the rest of the match (about 2 hours) with a busted tip. The line got caught round the tip a few more times but it held out till the end.
I fell over a few times when weighing in if you have downloaded the pictures
Love the place, can't wait to go again

Just a tip for everyone- always take a wooly hat fishing, even when it seems 'warm'. As it will sure protect your ears from getting earache!!
