Right guys - with the slight change of venue I’ve sorted out your dietary requirements so there’s no need for you all to ‘stop off’ on the way to the venue or do detours to the likes of Greasy Lil’s etc…………plus we can do the draw in more ‘civilised’ surroundings rather than on the towpath, particularly if the weather conditions are not particularly kind.

Instead of meeting at Wood Lane, the draw will be at the Fingerpost Pub as most of you will know sits on the side of the cut.

It’ll probably also be easier and more convenient to hand out ‘section’ maps and give directions to which bit of cut our visiting TAnglers‘ are on.

I noticed that they did breakfasts, so gave them a bell.

Normally they don’t open on Saturdays till 10am, but the gaffer said he’ll open at 8am for us so we can have a breckie, bacon or sausage sarnie etc etc, tea, coffee or summat stronger if it takes your fancy LOL and do the draw there.

So we are ‘booked in’ and it’s breakies and banter, wind ups and micky taking from 8am and the draw at 9am or preferably as soon as everyone is assembled.

Whilst I’ve said I can’t give any assurances or guarantees as to how many of us 30 odd would be bothering to have a prematch munch, I did promise to give him some sort of a feel for demand. So can any guys who intend to have a breckie or sarnie please send me a pm so I can pass on a likely number- cheers
