Hi Harry,

The only one of those i've fished is larford Arena and I have to agree.. it's loaded with fish. Overstocked by a mile but I havent a problem with that on occasion :). Its one of those places where you could walk across 'em, as is sometimes said.

Despite all that I fished two matches there last year and when the whistle went and it all went quiet... so did the fish! No topping or showing and a lot of anglers struggled. Right at the death three of us were bagging up in a corner while the rest of the anglers around the pool watched. Crazy this fishing game lol.

The other time was last winter and we couldnt get a bite off a carp. A very good angler who took me was distraught lol. He's not used to struggling. But thats the name of the game. Crazy this fishing lark.

To cap it all off, i've caught well at Lower Park ! And look how we struggled there last week ! So crazythis fishing lark.

Lost count of the the number of venues ive enjoyed myself and would dearly love my clubs to fish ...and if we do get there, what happens, usually not very much ! Or as TK would say the curse follows.

Personally I think picking venues is a nightmare of a job, all we can do is hope we hit some of them on a good day.

Hope we have some of those good days coming up Harry Image We all deserve a few now and then Image

oh and as for cheslynboys comments on greenhills there is no need to fish with a feeder or anything other than float either pole or wagler and you can use a catty

Harry how far are you planning into the futire ?

Greenalls = last time i heard there was a 3 YEAR waiting list for weekend matches

LArfords = Mpre expensive to book for a match than the venues cashmores use at present so club fees would have to go up, plus theres a a long waiting list for bookings

Grebe = Dont know

Brookfeilds = a total sh1t hole that need filling in . Under stocked and produces very low match weights

MAC= packington is a sh1t hole that is suffering for the past 2 years from various diseases. LAst year mds booked a match on there and all tho all the fish were dieing and floating on the top the owners asked people not to fish for carp as they were dieing from spawning Image Image Image. They hadnt got the decentcy to tell a match booking the truth that they had KHV
