WINTER LEAGUE IS ON THE CANAL THIS WEEK
three people have made the decision after all had been down and had a good look at the river
its still tramming through and water levels seem to change bye the hour and that includes coming up as they pump it though
we have a 95% chance of rain tomorrow plus winds getting up to 25 mph over the next two days so we feel the decision is the correct to put the winter league on the canal
i am sorry if some people don't like it but at the end of the day safety has to come first
and we all want a days fishing

Guest · #54

that's not rite it should go to captain meeting on the day .and i vote for the river .it's a leicester ,trentmen , wigston , and bucko stich up

bring back bobby d

and is gimpy mate

..................lolllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

#55

thats funny dave k is fishing at barford with his mates

probabley on a flooded river

its the same old moaners looks like they will be running the next match

all i know is 80% are quiet happy to be fishing the canal

pj1939 · #56

Why do some people moan at every thing.A decision has to be made and it has been, end of!!
Its always the same people doing the moaning and they dont put them selves up to run the winter league

#57

watch out for all the dumies being thrown out tomorrow mate

#58

So Pyjamarama does that mean you've been picked to fish the canal then?

#59

news to me

pj1939 · #60

It would be a much better winter league if the first half was on the river and the second half on canal every year the league gets moved on to the canal towards the end of league the weather is too up and down at this time of year.
And we should use b&j on the last 3 canal matches
