Well it looks like we will be getting wet tomorrow.
Me, Si and Paul will be decending on the great Larford Lakes to do battle with the other maggotdrowners.
The spirit of these matches is not to be serious and have a laugh, so with that in mind thats what I will be doing. I want to do well but as long as I catch one fish I will be happy.
I'm gonna keep things simple...
Feeder.
6 meter pellet and corn line.
10 meter shallow line.
And the margins, left, right and infront. Paste and pellet.
I may setup a close paste line too as last time I had some nice lumps close in on the paste
I know I said I was not going to take my rods but they are purley there as back up
I will be taking my camera and will try and dodge the raindrops to get some good pictures
I am meeting Si(me) at 7am in the morning at jct 10 for the hour drive down there, providing I don't get us lost hehe

Good luck Guys,
I had a tip from a regular once and he said if it rains heavy it pushes the fish out so he said fish the feeder with maggott. It worked for me that day so keep that in mind and if nothing much is happening after 45 mins chuck it out towards the middle. Kev Buxton was next to me that day and he beat me but I left it late before I copied him and when I did eventually chuck it out I wasn't going out far enough so I wasn't getting bites so I came off it and 30 mins later I went out with it again only further out then I started to heve em.

as not to complicate things tomorrow I decided not to take caster and maggot. Maybe Si will swap some for some nice GOT pellets
Will deffo be chucking the feeder out with corn or hair rigged meat though
