I think we got it a bit wrong, i had to have an extra 4 pints in pub to get over it. Long way back from that result.

Round two results.
The main topic amongst our team before the draw was that after the practice match everybody wanted to avoid sitting behind the KFC for five hours, this used to be a very good section but since construction work started on the far bank it has been the poorest section by far.
With the section going from pegs 131 to 148 and it getting worse the further you get towards the middle i was a little bit miffed when captain Al gave me a card with peg 139 on it .
On the practice match although the area was poor the main fish caught were roach, the guy on my peg had caught roughly 2lb and every fish was a small roach. With this in mind i decided to feed 4 raw lines across, 2 up and 2 down the far shelf, with 150ml on two lines and 50ml on the other two. the other lines fed were with a top three plus one and a line at 8metres, both were fed with a small ball of greyed up joker.
After 40 minutes with two perch from inside and three from 1 line across I knew it just wasn't going to happen. By dripping in tiny balls of joker on my inside line i had frequent bites for an hour from tiny perch until a boat too many went over it and action was ceased.
The lines across were i expected to catch only threw up 1 tiny perch from tight against the tins, with the two pegs to my right catching 7 roach each and the pegs to my left catching odd gudgeon i feared the worst when the all out was shouted.
With weights of 1-5-6,1-1-0,1-10-0 and 1-4-0 weighed i then put my 20 perch to go 1-0-0 on the scales, when the peg to my right weighed 1-0-13 i was cursing the loss of two perch, Mark Taylor then won the section with 1-10-14 and the guy on peg D1 weghed 0-15-10 to save me coming last.
On the team front Drennan North West Vans again proved to be the class act they are with 28 penalty points beating Tipton by 1 point.

I've just dislated my jaw trying to say Richard Geust.
The place is still a sh!t hole. Wait until you draw 135 and watch everyone in your section, on your right, sacking up.
What a sh!t hole, sh!t hole, sh!t hole, sh!t hole.
Never wanted to be at the sh!t hole anyway but our side only have ten
men
Utter sh!t hole
You may gather from this I ain't keen on the sh!t hole.

Dodge,
The weights may be lower at Wigan but I had 12 bites at the Birmingham Shitole Canal on Sunday.
Some top class anglers failed to catch a single roach.
Never mind, there is only two more on there.
Definitely my last WL.

Round 3
Coventry canal at Nuneaton.
The canal fished surprising well in most areas but the biggest surprise was the demise of league leaders Drennan North West who could only manage 7th to allow winners on the day Tipton and third placed Shakespeare to make a very tight trio at the top of the league!
Drawn between the all powerful trabucco VDE and the old very experienced Team Eclipse squads the pressure certainly showed with a string of poor results
Dean Guest (Trabucco was top individual on the day with a catch of Chub and Skimmers caught on bloodworm to beat Carl Hopps (Fox Tipton) by one ounce.
1st Dean Guest (Trabucco Midlands Van den Eynde) 9-15-4, two chub,
2nd Carl Hopps (Fox Tipton Van den Eynde) 9-14-8;
3rd Pete Johansen (Team Eclipse) 7-9-13;
4th Dave Lloyd (Fox Tipton Van den Eynde) 7-3-14;
5th Keith Brown (Browning Central) 6-1-4;
6th John Fowler (Sensas Dams and Lock) 5-10-0.
Teams:
1st Fox Tipton Van den Eynde 31;
2nd Trabucco Midlands Van den Eynde) 36;
3rd Shakespeare 43;
4th Sensas Dams and Lock 46;
5th Team Eclipse and Atherstone both 47.
7th Drennan Vans Noth West.....sh!t loads of points
League to date:
1st Shakespeare 8;
2nd Drennan North West and Fox Tipton Van den Eynde both 9;
4th Trabucco Midlands Van den Eynde 11;
5th Sensas Dams and Lock 12;
6th Browning Central 16.
I drew two pegs from Vernons way bridge opposite the football pitches...
I was 4th in section with 4lb 1oz despite a team of gobby little sh!ts opposite giving me loads of grief!
I had the last laugh though as they were buried 7-3....
funnily enough the same score that we beat Drennan Vans on the next peg by in our individual matches
