He's lucky I've turned up on any of the matches this year the way I am at the moment.  I chose to take my family to Gullivers Kingdom at Matlock Bath and had a wonderful time.

There seems to be a general decline in fishing at the moment and I don't know if it's to do with the boring every weekend run of the mill carp puddles or whether there is simply too many matches.  I think having one every week takes the edge off it but maybe that's just me.

Jack has booked them all back to back, which I am finding difficult mate.
Like you said I agree Image
I was just saying to Budgie in the chatroom, I would love more cuts but maybe some different canals. I dont like the wharf or owen road for the reason of the local knobs. I will not be going to any more matches on those canals.
Maybe everyone is sick of Rich winning them all :D :D
Maybe they should alter the way the payout is done so everyone has a chance.... I.E sections so its not the same people picking up money all the while. Least everyone COULD pickup something then.
Just my thoughts Image

I think it's great that Richard is doing so well, I admire him, he takes the time to do his homework and puts a lot of effort into it, he has some good mates who are giving him top advice too which helps. Take him off the carp pudles though and lets see how he fares, not having a dig at him at all but it's a fact.

I too would like more canals and I agree re Rolling Mill and the Wharfe, there's loads of cuts around the region we could go to. If there weren't so many carp puddles and matches in general too the club fees could be dropped considerably too.

If you want a match every week there's plenty of opens to go at.

No way, I like having one off and one on, gets too much otherwise.
Especially as I'm fishing more and more other matches. Its hard work.

I can tell you have lost interest in the fishing mate and its a shame, If I beat you I knew I was doing well but you aint been performing this year :D Image

My heart isn't in it at the moment mate, I can't be bothered to do any prep or homewrok and it does show in my results, I've never fished so bad lol, I feel I'm just throwing money down the drain at the mo although I do enjoy the banter on the day.

Rest asured it will come back and when it does it will be with a vengance, I just need a bit of a break thats all. I will be at Larford this week so I';ll try and ressurect a little enthusiasm for that ::) :D

See you then mate. Image

I agree.
A match every week is a bit much.I much prefer 1 every couple of weeks.
I also agree with the comments on the cuts with reference to the local troggs.I don't know why we don't try Nat alley or Little Onn you don't see a soul.
