At the draw I pulled out peg 5 with deca and terry morris drawing either side of the bridge thing. We even drew simple a peg in case he was late peg 15 and the golden peg was 13.
My peg isn't a good one with no body doing any good on it but i set up 4 rigs one at 2+2, 2+4, a shallow rig and one down the edge. I started on the short line and foul hooked a carp first cast, before taking two small carp on the soft pellet in the first hour then it went dead. I looked on all the other lines but no good.
With no one bagging it was wide open and i found a couple of carp at 2+4 and lost 4 one was my own fault and every one was having the odd carp, went shalow but with nothing and went down the edge and lost another. I had a look on he long line and hooked a real animal that i had on for 10 mins before it snapped my 17 hollo
.With half hour left i looked on the short line where i foul hooked another and got the scale
. I then threw 3 hand fulls of maggot down the edge and with 2 mins left hooked a lump on 4 red maggots and got that one out was about 8lbIn the finish i had 5 carp and was happy with what i had but should have won the match.
The pic is fine if your phone zooms, was a close match with tink having a mixed bag with a eel, 2 tench some roach and no carp, decka on the flier had no carp and a few silvers. The banter was class as normal
