Just come off the phone to Barry.

Match on river now cancelled due to inclement weather.

Venue is now the Cannock Extension canal controlled by Harrisons S&SC

Meet by the new bridge. 9.00am draw as normal.

No doubt we'd have seen 10lb bags of redfins and skimmers off all pegs MrV - I was looking forward to inching one of my 20gram rigs through

I'm actually now expecting the attendance figures for match 13 to increase a couple of intended absenteists are now coming along to the cut

Yep SS - the intention is to meet/park by the 'new' bridge and check out the colour. If too bad - like the time you fished it, we'll drop the otherside onto the moored boats section which doesnt suffer the same fate. (In fact hope this is the case as there are quite a lot of features along that length - stick ups, pads etc as well as the boats)

its a right sharpe turn on the bridge so if dont see it you will end up in the bridge

you'll see the cars parked on you right on grass verge just over the bridge, you fished there last xmas i think on tk knock up.

For this Top class venue is it one net or two

No net rules stipulated – only one required, but if you manage to catch well might be worth having a silvers net and putting in an additional one for carp, tench and those 4-6lb bream
