Well I was fearing the worst when I turned up (a bit late)

at the boatyard this morning - the lawns were white over and the car took some scraping
When I got there KOD Chris was nearly set up on the end of Poppy , Tricast Chris had stole a march and was already finding a few on the punch so i dropped on the next boat down, Lady C
Makes you scratch your head at times this cut does, and it made me scratch it a few times as a variety of random put in produced fish .
Wasnt fancying it a bit and I nearly didn't put net it, but I did and low and behold, having fed 7 lines, a first look on punch and the gloat wdnt under within 5 seconds. Missed it, but bite 2 was instantaneous and a 3oz roach went in the sproat bag. Then bite 3, 4, 5 and so on.
Could I catch Tricast Chris up

Head down
The soon rose and blinded me to my left but I could just make out both Chris's having a few too.
I never noted any pike issues but mu colleagues did with Tricast Chris having a double figure one sitting at the end of his net that he got his teeth stick into went Tricast lifted his net out for a catch shot Hope no holes were left in it.
Anyway time for the tale of the scales......
Well sorry we daint have any but KOD had put a nice bag together.
So had venue expert Tricast.
And I was happy with my net

despite trashing my rig on my last put in
