Harrisons members performed well on the latest Cashmores MG club match held on the boatyard section
In fact they filled the top 3 places. With the onset of the cold weather, bonus tincas and breme didn't put in an appearance but plenty of small fish kept anglers busy

Cashmores MG
Boatyard Section
1. D Jeffery 5.2.1
2. D Wassell 4.4.8
3. P Wassell 4.2.0

Well I fancied the boatyard for a few yesterday, but to be honest it was dire. Bleak, wet and windy with an earlier overnight frost. The only saving grace was leaning that several good anglers on a decent canal match venue not a million miles away also struggled for ounces yesterday,, so it wasn't just our cut.... but I think more colour does need to drop out of it 🤔
Whilst trying to scrat a bite a few fish did actually top in my peg.....but no wonder I couldn't buy a bite, this 14lb 10 ouncer put in an appearance on a second chuck this morning. Trevor B faired better than me with this decent breme and KOD Chris scratted a few perch out on chop

Close season now in force on The Cannock Extension

Had a last trip out yesterday on the boatyard (2nd peg) A flurry of roach were took on pinkie over gb by the farside boat. Couldn't get the punch line to work until I borrowed some lovely lickie off Chris KOD, then I picked up a few better stamp roach and a bonus skimmer. Fed a throwaway pellet line to the right down the track, and thats what it was.....couldn't buy a bite off it.
Finished with 2 to 3lb, twas slow to be honest, but better than my last few outings on other local cuts
Anyway see you down back on The Extension in three months time 🐟🐟🐟👍

The canal can be an enigma at times and todays Cashmores MG match on the Extension boatyard saw the top three weights fall to differing baits and methods.
Punch did the damage for the winner, whilst 2nd place fell to pinkie over groundbait with chop worm coming in third.
1. T Kulik 7.7.0
2. P Wassell 6.3.2
3. M Elcock 5.15.3
