It was a cold morning and a queue of cars as far as the eyes could see stretched out from the gates of Rugeley power station. Last to turn up was TK in his wife's hairdressing car.
After the ball aching task of signing in and Sprucey nearly reversing into a prime example Ford XR2 we took the 9mph drive to Kidney pond.
Mr V has slipped past security and was already waiting eager to get underway. With everyones gear inside the gate Mr V bared his head so the shiny draw discs would have a place to hide.
I snook my hand in and had a bit if a shake and one disc reached out to me and said "Pick me, pick me" So I did and it was peg 1

I was so shocked that when HAHA asked what peg I drew, I told him peg 4 :P

well some one as to keep an eye on the cuts. What would happen if a coach load of poles were eating the fish, or mgbs boat had an oil leak or all the peg had been vandalized. See so you might knock but theses jobs need doing and it seems theres only me willing to do it or as the dog to protect him in case a gang of hooded chavs get lippy

Id love to TK but Im fully booked for the next two years teaching Simple. I know its a long time but he is a bit slow on the uptake.

hey Dave, you don't earn the right to take the yellow stream until you beat me on a match.

Out of about 7 or 8 matches you only beat me once at Stockton and that's because you had a plan with Gem to make me late getting there, have no sleep the night before and then have her sit behind me putting me off

I,m not sure if the fish were being spooked by the pole over their heads?. pegs 9 and 10 needs 14.5mtrs-16mtrs of pole as feeding at 13mtrs i think allows the fish to back off a mtre or so when a few have been hooked.
