Well done to everyone who turned out today, probably one of the windiest matches I have ever fished. For a change the wind wasn't down to Dead Peg
Nice brekkie at the Towers, drew in there, where OBI's forecast of Tricast and Yamo drawing end pegs was spot on
Then off to the car park where we found most of the area covered in screws, obviously scattered about by somebody who doesn't want people parking there. 10 minutes collecting the screws (I have enough to finish boarding my loft out now) then all parked up and off to the pegs. I expected a few cracked poles and lost kit with the wind, but OBI had the only disaster, when the wind deposited his number 6 section in the cut
He said it was that windy he was lifted off his box at one stage, but no wind is that strong
Anyway, the tale of the scales in what was a very even match.
Peg 105 .Tricast 4lb 8oz 8dr
Peg 106. Zorro 3lb 10oz 7dr
Peg 107. OBI 3lb 14oz 7dr
Peg 109. Mick E 4lb 3oz 5dr
Peg 110. MrV 3lb 5oz 7dr
Peg 111. KOD 3lb 7oz 8dr
Peg 113. Yamo 3lb 2oz 8dr.
Brilliant day, great banter. Sorry TK but no piccies I am aware of
