Members should be aware that the main Brownhills to Pelsall is closed for water main repairs for the next 6 weeks.
Access to either the Extension or Fishley will be initially via the Norton road from the A5 if you are coming from that area
Had a wander today....extension has a nice colour. Boats towards A5 very clear water.Wood Lane there were plenty of fish topping both sides of the bridge, and the same at Doggers, but water fairly clear. Would need a breeze on them ideally. Common not too bad....dare we brave it with the weather forecast promised
My vote goes to the extension boys, second choice Fishley
Go on the extension....don't need to worry about a key then, or waiting for the key holder to get back from his peg and let everyone out at the end
If your going on Fishley I may give it a miss anyway. Fished it enough this season already. Variety is the spice of life, and we have plenty of canal to go at without visiting the same section so often.
Think I am with Paul on this one..Be nice to fish a different section..although I fid notice it was quite shallow there was plenty of fish to be had when me and Phil paid it a visit last week with some good bonus fish as well. ..would just have to take care with pegging ..my suggestion would be either dide of broken bridge

Been washing my worms, glossing my gentles, cleaning my casters, hovering my hemp, and waxing my wellies.
Got to be on my best appearance to grace the newly prepared drive way at Fishley Lane.
I have also polished my pole, tickled up my trolley and unfurled my umbrella
