Yes,qualified last week so I phoned angling trust to find out about the other rounds we had tickets, they told me that you cant fish them,they will refund the ticket price for these rounds.

I CAN ONLY SEE ANGLING TRUST NOT LETTING QUALIFIERS FISH IF AND ONLY IF THE QUALIFIERS ARE SOLD OUT ,OTHERWISE THEY ,THE CLUBS,AND FINALISTS ARE LOOSING MONEY FROM PEOPLE PREPARED TO FISH......POSSIBLY AS MUCH AS £1000 GOING IN THE POT.........MADNESS...THE SPORT NEEDS SUPPORT........

we were prepared to fish the other rounds, But the angling trust apply the same rules to fisho, And what would happen if terry nutt filled the last places late on Friday who,s going to notify the qualifiers who have tickets for this round.

looks like another angling trust farce, none of the qualifiers are sold out so don,t see what the problem is in letting previous qualifiers fish
there will end up hardly any one on the last two or three matches so the clubs will be loosing that extra money from the tickets sales

CAN YOU IMAGINE A FEW OF THE LAST QUALIFIERS WHERE THERE MIGHT ONLY BE 10 TO 20 PAIRS BECAUSE PEOLE WITH TICKETS HAVE HAD TO HAND THEM BACK IT MAKES A MOCKERY OF THE COMPETITION THATS MY GRIPE AND IM NOT GOING TO SAY NO MORE ABOUT IT ...SHAME REALLY....I HAVE SUPPORTED ANGLING TRUST ON FISHO AND RIVERFEST....BUT THEY HAVE BEEN SELLOUTS

EXCELLENT NEWS!!!!!

Pairs that have qualified for the Angling Trust/Canal & River Trust Pairs Championship Final can fish any future rounds.

If any of the future rounds are a sell-out (50 pairs) the anglers that haven't qualified will take priority over those that have.

Hope this makes sense; it is only through sensible comments on Forums like this that action can be accomplished.

This Sundays Pairs on the Shropshire Union Canal is completely sold out.

There are some spaces available next Sunday on the GU Canal at Stoke Bruerne, Northamptonshire. Book via Angling Trust or thorough Chris Howard (match organiser) on 07711 086436.
