It was the saddest of regrets that Dave Pinches suffered a fatal heart attack on Sunday.
There are plenty of us on here that knew him as a very popular, generous man who simply loved his fishing.
Lots of anglers on here looked up to Dave, I was one of them.
We had a happy knack, he was great company, of drawing next to each other as we did on the last match I fished.
