worm hooks
hi, i would like to know your thoughts on hooks for using when fishing chopped worm. iam having problems with hooking then loosing too many fish ie pulling out of them after 10 15 seconds. any help will be great.
worm hooks
Kamasan B560 all the way, use them in sizes 20-16, gets a bit springy in 14s. A mate tried them and he couldn't get on with them so uses Colmic 957, so its all down to what suits you.. Years ago I had the same problem when I used B611 and that went when I started using 560..

depends what you're fishing for is the obvious point.
I personally like crystal bend hooks for choppy fishing. I still have a few preston chop worm pattern hooks for scratching on the canals, whilst for proper lumpy perch on the Wye I use drennan forged match in size 12.

worm hooks
b711 size 11 for Lobworm tails 13 and 15 for dendras. Thread the worm onto the hook leaving lots of point showing but most of the hook inside the worm. Dont strike to early and pull hard to properly set the hook
