We do have the option of putting another section on the top ponds but this means slightly re-pegging the ordinal section something for the pipeline for next year. the only change to this week will be the high numbers at sutton will be taken out and moved to the lane end to the left moving around the pub up a few pegs
1 1860
2 Top ponds
3 Top ponds
4 Greens
5 Deeps
6 Deeps
7 Abbey
8 sutton around the pub and above
9 sutton lane end to the left
10 kegworth

One problem we have had when parking on the 1860 section please park next to the bridge do not drive past the bridge !!! we need this parking so dont let one angler ruin it for the rest of us  :facepalm :facepalm :facepalm

Unfortunately i have some bad news after being told last sunday that someone had thrown in a load of tree branches into the water at the waterside in five of the peg. everyone help remove them on the day and up to yesterday the pegs were clear unfortunately witnesses who were fishing today saw someone and we are not sure who yet throw all the branches back into the pegs . This is a matter for the controlling club to sort out as there must be a disagreement with this person . I have photos of these pegs and it has become a EA matter with the risk of these branches washing further into the river . Until this matter is sorted out properly Brian and myself feel we can't use the section at the waterside . It seems this stretch has a few issues as it was suggested we us the fields near the waterside pub again this is under dispute to who owns the fishing rights .
What is going to happen this weekend is the section will be moved to the top ponds this will mean shuffling the original section a little .
Its easy for people to say just peg here and there it just doesn't happen that way . This league is the best in the country and we want to keep it that way .
while we are on the subject a angler was seen driving a cross the field at the 1860 although he might of only dropped his kit off residents from the house over looking the field phoned the land owner to say someone was driving around his field . knowing the land owner he phoned me to find out what had gone on . i find the simple instructions seem to be the hardest to get through . we can't afford this sort of thing to happen again the angler involved has apologised  all cars must park next to the 1860 bridge  it's not a moan but as you can see there are loads of issues going on without adding to them ..

It might look easy to remove but would you want to be faced with this on a cold sunday morning. Thers  a good chance he will be down on sunday and confrantation wont solve anything . The controlling club will deal with this as the league have paid for these pegs
