Just out of curiosity, have any of you even been down sutton bonnington and fished the slider?

Always wondered if it would work?

Yes it has its day Sam along with Bolo but normally the Bolo is fished with water on and you can catch on the feeder the slider is a gamble but i remember rob wootton catching a tench on it some time ago . whether you'd of caught it on a feeder its hard to say . Ive seen it used on the deeps again the results are mixed could you catch more on a feeder .

Someone fished it next to me on Sensas masters. Think it was Rob Jones but only had a few chucks with no reward.

i think if you're going to fish it, it needs to be fed postitive and left for a while and if you're going to catch on it you want to be catching better stamp fish on it.

Big Gamble in my eye's as grammes are making the difference between winning and last in the sections at the minute to come last with 3.5 kg on the Abbey tells you just how competitive the league is. :thumsup
