It tends to go in small cycles for the average angler Joff, stick at it and just make sure you are prepared for when your time comes around
Just cant get a draw

FINAL ROUND OF THE SVWL
sometimes (v rarely in my case) when your confidence is high, you can seem to magic fish out of fairly poor areas and batter all around you consistently.
One person on sunday took a (very) early bath .... no prizes but guess who? kept him quiet (for a little while)

Well done to Leicester absolutely yellow streamed it.
Runner up spot was there for the taking though.
We were never at the races, worst result ever
Can manage to do all the Leicester lads in my section apart from bloody Scotty
Roll on next year.
Special mention to Ant King 9pts for individual great effort on a variable river.
And Adey Reynolds for the battering off the next peg on sunday i got Hemped
Also a big Thank you to Brian Hull for running the league in his own time .The time and effort he puts in is irreplacable. Thanks Brian

Yes well done to the Leicester boys, a top performance on a tight league. Every team in that league is capable of winning it which is great as it makes for a good competitive fishing. Really enjoyed it again and brain did a great job running it. can't wait for next year

And of course, very well done to Leicester.
Seems to be a competitive but good natured league.
The fishing looks rather good too .... Plenty of options for tactics and plenty of bites in most areas.
I'd quite fancy some more of that next year!

N0 Carp,
If you fancy a go next season you could get in with a team as there are usually some spare places available.
As you can see from the Leicester team you dont have to have the looks either
