hollow elastics

It time me to change my elastic i currently use drennan hollowcore in green 6-8 and yellow 10-12, but im thinking bout changing to hydro blue and grey any advise would be good thanks

All depends on what waters/species you are focussing on Damo

I use the yellow on all my commerals for carp and the green for bonus fish on canals and smaller carp and bream on commerials

Hydro is the best elastic on the market IMO if you are happy to pay £10.00 - £15.00 for it get it.

Most hollows do what they say, Hydro in my experience is very soft before it starts to power up, but lasts ages. The preston is alright but you need to keep an eye on the green and blue in my experience as they do perish quite quick for a hollow. The vespe is a well priced and easy to work with elastic you would probably be interested in the pink and green and finally I use the Browning Reflex Hollow elastic.
If you are going to start using it on canals though I would recommend only using it through one section to prevent it from stretching too far. My favorite for worm fishing on the cut is a yellow reflex through just a no.1 section. If i was to go lighter I would stick with a solid elastic just due to the nature of the venues.  I hope that this helps.

I've started using hydro this year and i think its great. I wouldn't use anything else now. I've got black in my power kits, and blue/white in my match kits.

Hi damo one bit of advice i would say about elastics would be whatever brand of elastics you choose try and stick with just that brand then you will get a feel for each grade far better and know what you can use them for

whats difference between vespe and keepnets direct hollow apart from colour,

seems be a lot of hollows on market that look the same diameters
