Somebody i know had a bit of success in a silver only festival feeding large quantities of it via groundbait balls,
It seemed to hold the skimmers well but was still out scored by people fishing pellet, in my eyes just an extra cost

Well the pools im fishing one holds lots of silvers and the other has them in but not as many, and has the weather getting colder the am starting to shut up shop, and the roch dont take a fancy to pellet on them, so just trying to find a bait to try fill the gaps in between trying to get the odd carp.

i never leave for a winter league match without Flo pinky when targeting silvers!!!
breadpunch would be another good bet also id say just dont feed to much as it fills them up quick
I wouldnt bother with squatt they dont do well in really cold water anyway.

Damo I've not tried squatt on a commercial I know anglers that have . What really does work in the depths of winter is feeding a very large pot of pinkies if you haven't tried it then you must it seems a lot of bait and it is but it works
