After a Sunday morning interview iv'e managed to secure some work at a Candle factory,
iv'e got to do a wick in hand and then hopefully i will be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel, a good location tho, right next to a fishery and refreshments available at Katy O'Roarkes - Old Ticket Office pub 200 Mtrs away.
This weeks contest on the 21 peg Barley pool at Woodland View was another close one, with the end pegs expected to do well the winner Andy Pitt actually triumphed from middle peg no 12 with 57-11 in his nets, 2nd was Kev Driver with 55-15-8 and in 3rd place was Graham Taylor who recorded the biggest fish of 7-11 in his bag of 42-8.
Most of the fish on the day were caught on soft expander pellets, although a few anglers had some success on corn or worms.
Lots of decent carp were lost up & down this canal type pool, but a few decent Crucians & Tench were caught in pretty even depths of about 4ft.
Next contest at the Jam Factory, Lower Broadheath will be contested on the Ash pool which is believed to hold some big fish, so sturdier tactics may be required.
